On January 9, 2025, the business delegation led by Ms. Shen Mingfang, Chairperson of Hurricane Group, paid an official visit shortly after arriving in Egypt to Mr. Walid Gamal El-Din, Chairman of the General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone. The two sides held in-depth and friendly discussions.

Chairman Walid Gamal El-Din also detailed the multiple preferential policies and tax reduction and exemption measures rolled out by the Egyptian government for the zone. Its unique geographical location, strong policy support and abundant local labor resources make Egypt a highly attractive destination for Chinese enterprises looking to expand overseas trade. After the detailed briefing from the Chairman, all members of the delegation gained greatly enhanced confidence in the Egyptian market, and are determined to develop and expand business here.
